As reported by
@ZachXBT, Revolut exposed personally identifiable information (PII) of some of their customers, because they fell for a fraudulent government request and has been sending out emails to customers since yesterday, saying:
"Exposed data included:
-Copy of passport and/or driver's licence, plus the verification selfie
-Account statements, IBAN, withdrawal records, and full transaction history including Bitcoin
-Full name, date of birth, occupation
-Home address, email, phone number"
But sure, KYC is there for our protection and fighting crime..
Meanwhile, Revolut has
@ZachXBT blocked on X.
