Proud to co-host with the African Union @USUN an important meeting with all our partners in the Quad, the members of the Quintet, and other close partners supporting key peace and political dialogue efforts in Sudan, the UK, Norway, Qatar, and Switzerland. We discussed how we can all work together to coordinate efforts to resolve Sudan's conflict and support Quintet efforts to facilitate an inclusive Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue. We also discussed how we can explore practical steps for advancing complementary efforts across humanitarian, peace, and political tracks, including the importance of ending external support to the warring parties that continues fueling the war and the devastating civilian toll.

Today, @USAmbUN and Ambassador Dan Negrea hosted @DeputySecState Landau along with partners from @EximBankUS, @DFCgov, and @SpaceX to unveil the Trade Over Aid Deals Library. The U.S. is advancing market-led growth, replacing endless aid cycles with private investment, infrastructure, and commercial partnerships across 40+ nations.

Peacekeeping missions are not permanent. @AmbUNReform met with Central African Republic President @FA_Touadera and FM @SylvieBAIPO_RCA to highlight CAR’s progress alongside @UN_CAR. As MINUSCA transitions responsibilities to CAR authorities, the United States encourages continued, close collaboration.

While others have talked, President Trump has acted.

President Trump: Americans have never been a nation that retreats from a frontier or shrinks from a challenge, no matter how great or how daunting that challenge may be.     Freedom was not a gift that Americans won easily after 250 years, and it is not one that we will ever, ever, ever surrender.

President Trump: The United States totally rejects any attempt to construct a globalist scheme to control the artificial intelligence being spoken of so much now, here and after officially called super intelligence, changing the name in that the use of the word artificial makes intelligence fake. It makes it sound fake, and it is not fake.  It's actually amazing, but we have to be careful.

President Trump: My administration is seeking a fundamental change in the situation in Cuba, where the Communist regime is under great pressure, the biggest pressure they've ever been under. It's an absolutely failed state. It's failing like never before, and it will fall.

President Trump: Our actions in Venezuela are proof that the United States will no longer permit threats to America to gain a foothold anywhere in the Western Hemisphere, and if necessary, we will use our unmatched military might to secure the vital national interests of the United States.

President Trump: I call on all nations to join us in enforcing the complete economic isolation of Iran until they stop their attacks on commercial shipping, relinquish their nuclear ambitions, and cease their support of terror. The terrorist regime is behaving badly, not because they are strong and confident, but because they are weak and desperate.
