They were sent and trained by other people who have names and addresses. And the collective resistance movement that organized this killing is also comprised of people with names and addresses. Butchering Erick and Ruth was a choice made by people with names and addresses. Not releasing those who were kidnapped into hell was also a choice made by people. There was not a single demonstration in the West Bank, or Gaza, to release the hostages, or against the people who committed the atrocities. Their supporters in the west, also people, chose to encourage and cheer the resistance to continue fighting, to not surrender. All of these people have names. Erick and Ruth were real people, with a home, with families. The killers were people, their nation are a people, and it’s only appropriate that a person shall suffer the consequence of their decisions. That incudes the consequences of their leaders. Inherent in the definition of self determination - you are responsible for your actions as a collection of people. You can choose to butcher people as an act of resistance.
