Charles Swab and other tradfi asset managers use a particular strategy that earns high yield through selling options. This strategy is called "The Wheel" 1. It involves selling a put, wait for expiry, selling a call, wait for expiry, then selling a put - and repeat. 2. For each option, select strikes close to spot with short expiry dates to take advantage of high APRs, you want these options to trigger. 3. Every time the option triggers, you have the opposite token (swapping from USDC <> SOL) and so you sell an option with those new assets. You can run this today with SOL & cbBTC on @leaps_finance

I've been often asked whats difference between selling covered calls on SOL vs just staking it. - Covered calls pay you now, and a lot more, but caps your upside. - Staking lets you keep the upside, and pays you a lot less. Staking: 10 SOL over 90D = $17 (0.15SOL earned) Covered call: 10 SOL over 90D = $53.49 (19% APY) If SOL doesn't hit $136 in 90D (around New Years), covered calls wins.
