Minting does not reveal your Useless Loot. Your token will initially appear as one of four Shrouded Useless Loot variants.
Some Shrouds are less common than others, this has absolutely no influence on the item you'll eventually reveal.
What you mint is still unknown.

The artwork and metadata for every Useless Loot item live entirely on Ethereum.
What does that mean? When you view a Useless Loot the contract itself gives you the artwork. It's not pointing at some corporate database somewhere.
It's permanently stamped #onchain

AURAS - now these are something different.
Some items are enveloped by an Aura, changing both the appearance and feel of the item.
They're considerably less common, so you won't encounter one often when revealing.
