A 51-year-old man, Sajir, died of a heart attack after being stuck in a traffic jam on Bengaluru-Hosur Highway.
Sajir, a pickup van driver, collapsed while his vehicle was stranded for nearly 30 minutes in Chandapura.
Hundreds of vehicles were stuck along a 3-km stretch & volunteers had to reach the spot on foot as emergency responders were unable to reach him in time.

Round trip from Ecity to Jayadeva (16km) takes 360 by metro (including Rs 60 auto charge for each last mile)... and driving solo in Car takes max Rs 300.
So much for encouraging public transport.
