Mam why don't you travel by pvt vehicle? Facing traumatic experience because ppl are having conversations, playing games means you might need to visit mental hospital
I had a traumatic train ride today. It is very sad to see how people do not respect public spaces enough. When we are in the public, we should not shout or even talk loudly and disrespect every individual’s personal space in Public. As artists, we have a 100 thoughts running. And we thrive in silence. Everyone can understand the initial excitement when travelling in a big group in a train. But imagine a group of 40 middle aged adults occupying a 56 seater coach and talking so loudly to everyone for 5 hours. Non stop. Problem in India is nobody can question them. It is an unsaid rule that the other 16 of us which aren’t part of the group should simply endure them. So I requested the TTE if I could get another seat in a different coach. He tried but unfortunately since the train was full, I had to simply stay in the same coach but a different seat. Suddenly a group of 8, that was already yapping and laughing non stop, started playing UNO. And then I requested the TTE if anything could be done. He requested them to stop and they immediately stopped. But after a couple of minutes TTE came back and mockingly asked them ‘yaake sir galaatte maadtaideera?’ (Why are you creating nuisance?) and they had a good laugh with him and said, ‘sir Neevu banni, adona’(Sir you also join, let’s play). So the concern here is not about who won. Myself, along with them, as Indians, lost the Civic sense game. When will we as a nation improve our public behaviour?

A KSRTC bus (KA-28 F-1985) was driven for 84 km in darkness on the Kalaburagi–Chincholi route with no headlights, used mobile flashlights instead🙆🏻‍♂️ I blame the RSS for the condition of KSRTC buses. Registration of RSS is the only way to fix this issue

On the sacred occasion of the 259th Birth Anniversary of Saint Tyagaraja, I offer my humble tributes to one of India’s greatest composer-saints, whose music transformed devotion into an eternal spiritual path and enriched the cultural soul of Bharat. Sri Tyagaraja, born in Kakarla village of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh, remains a source of immense pride for the Telugu people. His contribution to Carnatic classical music is unparalleled. His compositions, rooted in devotion and enriched with philosophical depth, have elevated our musical tradition and brought enduring recognition to the richness of Telugu language and culture. As one of the revered Trinity of Carnatic music, alongside Muthuswami Dikshitar and Syama Sastri, Saint Tyagaraja elevated Indian classical music to unparalleled spiritual and artistic heights. Deeply inspired by Purandara Dasa and immersed in devotion to Lord Sri Rama, he dedicated his entire life to composing music that united philosophy, emotion, and divine experience. Musical tradition reveres Saint Tyagaraja as the composer of nearly 24,000 kritis. Yet, only about 730 compositions survive today, and barely 400 continue to live through active performance. This reality is a solemn reminder of our collective duty to urgently preserve, protect, and pass on this invaluable musical heritage to future generations His immortal compositions like Jagadananda Karaka, Endaro mahanubhavulu, Bantu Reeti Koluvu, Samajavaragamana, and Nagumomu continue to inspire musicians and devotees across the world, rising above barriers of language and geography. Legendary maestros M. S. Subbulakshmi, Mangalampalli Balamuralikrishna, Semmangudi Srinivasa Iyer, and D. K. Pattammal carried his divine music across continents, sharing the spiritual brilliance of Tyagaraja and richness of Carnatic music tradition with audiences around the world My personal association with Chennai gave me the opportunity to witness the profound devotion with which Tyagaraja Aradhana is celebrated at Tiruvaiyaru in Tamil Nadu. Similar reverence is also seen in Hampi, Karnataka. Having witnessed this devotion across states, it becomes our cultural responsibility to celebrate Saint Tyagaraja’s legacy with equal devotion in Andhra Pradesh the land connected to his origins. As custodians of this rich civilizational heritage, we reaffirm our commitment to preserve, nurture and strengthen the musical and spiritual heritage of Saint Tyagaraja and other great Telugu saint-poets such as Bammera Pothana and Annamacharya. With this vision, the following cultural initiatives should be encouraged and advanced through the collective efforts of government, cultural institutions, and society at large. • State-level Tyagaraja Aradhana Utsavams in Andhra Pradesh: Institutionalizing annual celebrations with participation from leading musicians, scholars, students, and devotees from across Bharat and the world. • Comprehensive Digitization Mission: Digitization of manuscripts, notations, rare recordings, oral traditions, and archival materials related to Saint Tyagaraja’s compositions in coordination with the Department of Culture. #Tyagaraja

Deadly fight against English continues… A shop dared to put 60% English on its name board, so a “strong notice” was issued to the watchman of that store, along with a terrifying one-week deadline to fix it. Flower ❌ Fire ✅

His name was Potti Sreeramulu. He was born in 1901 in Nellore and worked as a sanitary engineer with the Indian Railways. His wife and child died when he was 28 years old. His mother died two years later. He gave up his job and walked to Gandhi’s Sabarmati Ashram. Gandhi said of him if only I had eleven more followers like Sreeramulu I would have won freedom in a year. He fought in the Salt Satyagraha and was imprisoned three times. He joined the Quit India movement and was jailed again. After independence, Telugu speaking people wanted their own state but the government refused to act. On October 19, 1952, he began a hunger strike with one demand a separate state for Telugu speaking people. Nehru privately assured him of support but made no formal announcement. Sreeramulu did not stop. He crossed day 30. Then day 45. Then day 58. He died on December 15, 1952. Telugu regions erupted that same night. Riots broke out across Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Nellore. Police opened fire and seven people died. Four days after his death, Nehru formally announced a separate Andhra state. What decades of petitions could not achieve, one man achieved by dying. His sacrifice did not stop at Andhra. It forced India to reorganise every state on linguistic lines. Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu and Kerala all exist in their current form because of 58 days in 1952. They call him Amarajeevi, which means the Immortal Being. He died so that 50 million people could call a place their own. Follow for real stories India never makes headlines about.

This moron says "TN fought. TN won't hahaha 🤣 they made kannadigas bakras
TN fought. TN won. #Delimitation is about representation, about who gets a voice in India’s democracy. It must strengthen the Union, not weaken its balance. Guided by Periyar, inspired by Anna, and strengthened by Kalaignar, Tamil Nadu has always stood for justice, dignity, and federalism. The south stood united and made its voice heard. Democracy prevailed. We never opposed delimitation. We asked for fairness, for a process that is consulted, thought through, and agreed upon. Not one pushed through for political gain. This is our resolve: every time Tamil Nadu’s rights are challenged, every time its identity or culture is questioned, and every time the federal spirit of India is tested, Tamil Nadu will rise united and unwavering. My sincere thanks to all opposition parties who stood united.

Hahaha 🤣.
Just watched Dhurandhar 2 and wow! what a masterclass in how to turn something promising into an endurance test. It’s like reading a textbook of the most boring subject with never-ending chapters and at some point, your brain just gives up and starts laughing out of sheer despair at the atrocity unfolding in front of you. If you really want to watch it, do yourself a favor, don’t waste your time or money in a theatre. This is strictly “pause, scroll phone, question life choices” content-best consumed on a streaming platform where escape is just a click away. Direction, dialogues, editing, background score, acting all consistently subpar. It genuinely feels like no one told them there was a March 19 release deadline approaching. Or worse, they knew and still said, “haan perfect hai, bhej do.” In Dhurandhar (Part 1), people were hooting, clapping, vibing. There was energy. There was engagement. This one- the audience was having none of it. You could feel the collective disappointment in the theatre. Also, to everyone saying it’s Ranveer carrying the film-what exactly is he carrying? Because all I could see was his hair. In the first part, his hair had personality, presence, character. In this one, it’s just there. In the way. Of everything. Blocking scenes. Possibly eligible for a supporting role nomination. And the violence!!! This isn’t a movie, it’s basically a visual handbook (one that absolutely should not exist) on how creatively violent you can get with literally any object lying around. Syringe? Used. Spanner? Used. Knives, spiked balls, machetes, reapers, chains, guns, bombs, bazookas, shutters -you name it, they’ve weaponized it. The director seems to be in a constant competition with himself: “How do I make the next scene more violent/comical than the last?” And it just keeps escalating to the point where it stops being shocking and starts being hilarious. You chop off both legs, soak a torso in kerosene, and the guy is still delivering dialogues like he’s mid-TED Talk. Medical science, Zindabad. Forget Oscar, Nobel Prize incoming. Long story short: Dhurandhar 2 is a HUGE disappointment. Snoozefest/comedy at best. If Part 1 made you cheer, this one will make you question why Dhurandhar 2 why? Ranveer you’re better than this. Aditya Dhar- jingoism and propaganda is so passé. Get over it.
