Queste accuse delineerebbero un grave tradimento: quello di un funzionario dello Stato che avrebbe dovuto difendere la sicurezza nazionale della Germania, non comprometterla.
Secondo la procura di Amburgo, nel 2023 Hanning avrebbe organizzato, insieme all’ex capo dello Shin Bet, il servizio di sicurezza interna israeliano, una squadra di agenti israeliani incaricata di rapire con la forza i figli di una miliardaria tedesca.
Vale la pena ricordare le parole del cancelliere Merz: Israele fa «il lavoro sporco per tutti noi».
Intanto, Germania e Italia continuano a bloccare la sospensione delle disposizioni commerciali dell’accordo di associazione tra Unione europea e Israele e le misure sanzionatorie proposte. Eppure, il rispetto dei diritti umani è una condizione fondamentale di quell’accordo.
