👏Well said Stuart. Vast solar panel estates do not belong on prime agricultural land. Thank you for raising this with the Prime Minister today. It sounds as though @andyburnham may agree with my Private Members Bill banning solar estates on prime agricultural land. He’s welcome to sign my petition and pass my Bill!

In Parliament today, I challenged the Prime Minister on the continued loss of productive agricultural land to large scale solar developments.
We can support renewable energy while protecting the countryside and the land our farmers need to produce food.
