If what Elon Musk claims is true, it's a boon & a curse for India. Gap that Elon Musk is pointing at is real. Rural India is still half online. Optical Fibre was promised. Towers infra still stop where the money stops. A dish that works in the mountains is not a small thing. And that is the boon; that rural schools, clinics, and all other basic human amenities would perish if a disaster struck at the middle of the night when the ground network dies. India should understand that the connectivity does not have to wait for messiah from a trench. The incumbents will fight it, because a new fibre pipe into the last mile is a threat to the rent they already collect. They will dress the delay as security. Some of that delay will just be turf. Curse is the other hand on the same dish. Satellite comms that sit with an American company are not a neutral utility. In a bad year, Washington can lean on Delhi through the switch. The network that brings a classroom online can also carry a culture that India did not ask to import at that speed. Access and influence travel on the same beam. We have burnt our hands with such 'influential' parsing couple of hundred yrs ago, it didn't worked well for us. *cough colonialism cough* So both things are true. India is in dire need of all, and I mean all rural, remote, every corner village connected, and it needs the pipe not to become a foreign choke. Blocking Starlink to protect a local monopoly is not sovereignty. Handing the sky to one company and calling it progress is not sovereignty either. I feel in the end, it's better to let the best 'signal' win. iykyk. Thoughts?
Unfortunately, we are being blocked by certain oligarchs in order to maintain their monopolistic chokehold on the Indian people. You can guess who they are … This is a crime against the people of India!

No AI company is immortal in the evolution of a tech company. There, i said it. I have been contemplating the consequences of my extreme AI beliefs, so here you go; my deeply thoughts unrefined take on how AI co are not going to shape the future of humanity through glorified chatification of apps. Pacing frontier models is just cosplay of the tech community. Meta, OpenAI, Anthropic will not end as chat-bot software pioneers. They have probabilistic chances of ending up as non-core engineering sectors, like biotech. Anthropic founder Dario came up through neuroscience. Sam Altman & Zuck are not crazy about the brain computation alreayd. We know already what Elon Musk is doing with Neuralink; eventually it will all converge. The people who used to ship code are quietly becoming the people who want to read and write from the quantum physicsx nervous system without opening the skull. Isn’t that beautiful. I call this part of our phase as tech-renaissance-in-making. Most people are still arguing about which model writes a better email or which agent books the best flights ffs. Ai companies are already looking past the screen. Chatbot software was the moat. Unique core engineering industries are the next gold mine. Not screen-economy. Once you can touch that circuit; it beholds the power of driving human consciousness to leap ahead. But can you harness such power?!

REMEMBERING MY LIGHT, MY NORTH STAR 15 years. Since 2011, 5th October, when he left us, I have succumbed to a giant wormhole in my heart. Since 2012, I have practiced this ritual, penning down my memories of him & sharing them back to him (spiritually) & after a few years, now to the world on this day, every year. Yesterday, Steve came into my dream & him being my intellectual sparring partner all this time, dream didn’t felt weird, compared to how I dream mostly about apocalyptic future & survival. This time Steve Jobs was receptive of what I was explaining him, he gripped me into his distortion field; as his admirer & student of life, I started talking like an excited young boy, about the kind of relationship i practice in my company. He nodded, i continued… “Steve sir imagine: you want to build another unsinkable as the ‘titanic’ now, if you’re reiterating your vision to your team, talking about collection & delegation of the process, drum them about the needs & give ordained orders. you wouldn’t yield greatness…rather envision them about the vastness of the ocean. be poetic & make them feel the romanticism of the creation process. I strongly feel that unlike you I don’t manage them, but lead them. And lead with context, not control. your company’s culture is the footprint of how you want the world to look at you. it’s difficult to lift, understand the problem & yearn solutions for others to strive on - if you still have the sheer will & obsession to do it, well, you aren’t a disappointment after all” He was silent. Cold. Like a monk. after long 5 mins of nothingness, he said: “Viv, You’re really passionate when you talk. Now, don’t you think these statements you gave, are mere construct of impactful words; even though it holds the true essence of experience & fair share of failures; don’t fucking look at it as some sort of melodies in your voice. Uncomfortable?” He said this. And walked slowly ahead of me. After watching him move away from me. The sky went brownish-pink. And he looked back. Smiled. I swiftly opened my eyes, “Slide to stop…”, alarm blazing!! I really really miss him these days, especially when I feel lost or too much overwhelmed. That wormhole grows bigger, every year. Thank you, Steve. Still alive.

Software has been eaten up by super intelligence. I'm having difficulty swallowing the hard pill but the old moat for tech startups was code. Years of repository building. Logic stack nobody else could copy fast enough. That wall, that secret ingredient is gone. LLMs are powerful enough to write, ship and iterate the product; so what remains for the org to do? Clean the leftover digital garbage? Sam Altman put the energy argument in a way people still refuse to sit with. Training a human takes twenty years of food, school and a civilisation. It took the evolution of the hundred billion people who ever lived to produce you. The fair comparison is not the training bill. It is the energy to answer one question once the model exists, versus a human. Measured that way, AI has probably already caught up. That is why 4 yr college degree starts feels like an ancient phenomenon. AI is moving at such a god speed that you're going to be numb, soon and no learning will make sense.

DIGGER REVIEW (Spoilers alert): "I give you freedom" Where should I even start? Imperial reflection of the future's past and where we are right now. We all are diggers in that sense. We all are Rockwells of our life. We love living in hell and we love playing the satire. And the joke writes itself. Iñarritu's mind would have exploded multiple times writing so many layers to this film. A bold, brutal and brilliant endoscopy of a story is to be experienced all by yourself. I mean how can every frame of the film feel like something new. Something original. Something we don’t deserve, just yet. This is a masterpiece that is not going to be appreciated right now. This is not the moment for us, but eventually, when cinephiles truly see beyond the lens and beyond those divide-and-conquer narratives on the internet, they'll realize the indulgence, the theatrics, and the bold style of this kind of writing. Tom Cruise’s southern accent is what plays the most important character in this film. The awe-struck twist of them portraying a character within a character within a charactwr in the middle of the film is good enough reason. A phenomenally bold filmmaking. Wow.  What is charming is not just how every character starts syncing with each other. From the beginning, the souls are different, but somehow it all converges into one true soul. That is the characterization levels of this film. Tom Cruise (@TomCruise is phenomenal). This felt like how Shakespeare would have been visually written if it had been happening in this century, at this very time. You may feel it is a satire, that this is a comical movie, that this is drama, or maybe that this is nothing. The truth is that this is the kind of demon of a storytelling that we need right now. And yes, don't forget Maggie or that one take on a revolving monologue that holds the entire axle of the film. This is one true cinema experience. You can't miss it, like you just can't! 2026 is getting very interesting while we near to the end.

India’s left Librandus are f**king cowards. Ok, lets keep the politics aside and observe if you feel this…it takes really hardcore gutwrenching hate towards your own country to not appreciate the bravery of that flydubai Indian pilot who saved 180 lives. It’s funny & strange how both pilots did what their dharam truly preached respectively. I mean world leaders are acknowledging captain smit machchar’s bravery, global media discourses are highlighting how an indian saved the world from another potential 9/11. Everyone’s talking or tweeting, mostly acknowledging India’s prowess through that man, except those leftist c**ks who have info of all the movements around the world, except when India’s being appreciated. Not one tweet from any puppets. What does this tell you about these librandus? These pappus & german shepturds & dickpes of indian societies? Not saying the left should wake up to reality, too late for that, but at least acknowledge the truth in front of your eyes. Stop playing blind like Gandhi. He sold my nation once ffs, you all won’t be able to, ever again. It’s done, bro.

India is entering a 10 yr AI renaissance. I got a very strong feeling about what this decade actually brings for India: 2027 to 2037 will decide the price of competence. AI tools are almost free. Gatekeepers are naked & weaker than they look. AI agents just handed every person the output of a small team. The majority of mediocre people will use it to consume (summarise) things faster. Unfinished side projects are being manufactured. Slowly. Already queuing into people’s lives. Only thr lucky few will use it to build. Something. Anything. A country can be handed the power of the gods and still lack the courage to use it. Same tools. Two destinies. Institutions need builders. Feeds need spectators. Those two hungers cannot share the same decade forever. India, the decade will not wait for you to feel ready. So ASI when?

India is exhausted of attention. I got a reality-slap on how this attention economy has slowly ruined our intellectual fabric: “what can be clipped survives. what needs patience dies.” India is completely tired, not of people, surprisingly. But of the demand that every hour must be witnessed. Selective outrage is a job now ffs. Attention used to be a moral act. Now that “attention” is a market. A people who cannot hold one subject for an hour cannot hold a state for a generation. Institutions need continuity. Feeds need novelty. Those two hungers cannot govern the same mind forever. Attention was supposed to be the light. But in a snap, it became the flood. When everything is urgent, nothing is important. Mind plays busy and the country stays thin. India, remember: want to crumble a nation? poison its youth.

Indians can never become Owners. I have been observing this rapid growth of the performative consumption class. We Indians might have gotten really good at the transaction level. That is compare, negotiate, debate east-facing v/s west-facing like it is a moral exam & then just to massage oneself’s status quo in societies, take decisions that was never yours to begin with. But slowly you don’t even realise when that sea-facing balcony became a cloth-drying playground. What would you call it - a taste problem or an instinct problem? This ideology of “apna kaam banta, baadhh mein jayein janta” or “sirf aapna ghar saaf rako, aur bahar jaake kachra karo, apna kya jaata hai” has ruined the social fabric of what India could have been. This bs scarcity mindset chico, it never lets any nation rise. By protecting what is ours and abandons what is of the public is where we fail as educated citizens of India. Money can move you into a building. It cannot move the building into you. Until the temperament catches up with the address, we will keep buying elevation and living the hedge. The tower goes up. The kapda-sukhana-karikram goes up with it. The second one has never once broken a promise. Indians are f**king buyers. Not owners. Not yet.

This is like The Social Network moment for people not in tech. Why I love documentary films is this amount of tension fuming in you right from the first frame, just with greyish-grade visuals, pinching dialogues & camera cues. You feel you are there with her. Wow.
YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING, a documentary by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, featuring Elizabeth Holmes. See for yourself only in theaters October 16. Select theaters on sale now at youcanseeeverything.movie, nationwide tickets available October 1.

Jay Singh Rathore is exactly what Indians deserve. The way he undressed the moral-police-posers of X is hilarious. Savage after savage replies and you still consider twitter a political platform. I mean a random acc shows up here as a 16 yr old teenager, posta about how his ‘sister’ needs treatment, everyone in sympathy donate money & he makes ₹1.5L till the next morning. Till here it was all ok. Then the hospital exposes his crime, and the circus begins. He hops onto X Spaces, roasts that leftist Nimo Yadav, cooks a UPSC failure and other gendu moral policeofficers of X, sips chai and smokes a sutta 3 AM in the morning on Kanpur station, becomes a literal overnight sensation on everyone’s X timeline. Still wondering why it’s so easy to scam “digital-first, whatsapp university grads, dimagi naxals” Indians. Haha, you got scammed as well?

4 September 2024. I preordered Protocols because when my X science buddy & favourite podcaster @hubermanlab I trust the most with all his science-based tools, was putting all of his learnings into one book, so why not!! For the entire 2025, it didn’t arrive. I became a little nervous about whether this delay would prolong. That one-year wait became two. But just a couple of days back, it arrived on the Kindle. *sigh of relief* A few pages in and the thesis is already clear. Andrew writes that protocols work because they are based on how we work, not because they are fashionable. The line that stays is the one about winners. They take whatever they feel, even when it sucks, and transmute it into action. Not mood or motivation or fancy productivity kits. Action. That is why the #book delay feels strangely right. The body does not care that you waited two years. It only cares whether you will use the manual now. Just getting started. Thank you, Andrew.

First industry that AI has f**ked up is the customer support industry. I’m unable to recall, help me, what was the purpose of AI in humans’ lives? To remove friction between humans & machines, instead I am now on a f**king phone call reverse-engineering keywords, changing how I naturally speak so some fuddu voice agent can first determine whether my problem deserves access to a human support. A technology is not ‘intelligent’ or capable of being sentient if I have to become less human to communicate with it; if the customer has to learn how to prompt customer support, you haven’t automated sh*t. By painting cost-saving ‘methods’ as your bootlicking strategy for a billion dollar valuation, the joke is writing itself *press 67 to unalive yourself, but i won’t let you chat to a human agent, like ever* AI customer support is the ugly equivalent of a QR code menu scanner for restaurants. I weep for you “ai wrapper fraudsters”, just stop this YC bs of “fitting-AI-in-any-whore” ffs.

Birthdays are the future’s funeral. There was a time when your soul, your light, your body used to propagate a different energy when we were young; with this sense of excitement about how your birthday == freedom. But somehow, as we grow old our body does not understand the language of birthday anymore. Is it a miracle or a warning sign? One more random morning arrives, you feel something. And that’s it. The people who loved you into this life are either still here or already becoming faded memories. The work you postponed is still waiting. The boy you were is further away than he was last year and he will not walk back. So many regrets. Wondered why? You do not get to keep the days. You only get to spend them. Some will be wasted. Some will be true. Days that would really matter won’t advertise. What changes is the awareness. Each birthday is a small notice that the distance to the end has shortened by one more unit. Might not feel dramatic or even cinematic. As you might have replayed in your imagination. Just nearer. You mourn yourself in advance for a few hours and then return to the living. If there is anything worth crying over tonight, it is thanks for the year that was given, and a harder promise for the year that remains. To live. To love. To become. And most of all, to remain. Still here. Still awake. Still alive. Rise above.

Indian adults are pressured into feeling guilty for long-distance relationships. Not just romantic relationships, but blood relations too. I would read ahead with a pinch of salt; Indian blood relationships & bonding have a weird habit of living stacked on top of each other. I wonder why? Family in the same house. Friends in the same colony. Love, adventures, all around your same locality, comfortable and recognisable. A lot of indians don’t realise but proximity is actually a slow poison. As long as the person is within reach, the bond looks intact. Let the elder son or daughter from the family move to another city & tada, watch how quickly the performative face unmasks. Absence is the antidote. Kills the small flame, feeds the large one. That exposure hurts because we were taught that staying near is the same as staying true. Being loyal to your blood. Being honest towards your responsibility of taking care of your family. The ideal ‘Shravan Kumar’ - but what we fail to realise is, one needs to get out to be back. Access is not devotion. Presence on a map is not presence in the heart. To indian adults, swallow the hard pill: if that ‘distance’ empties the room, the room was already empty. And you know how it feels, like your head’s underwater & you’re screaming into the abyss. Are you guilty?

I was shocked when I was reading about Shri Ganesh Ji in manava grihya sutra... Most hindus know Ganpati Ji as the one who removes obstacles 'sukh harta, dukh harta'. But did you know that in ancient sanatan ritual texts his origin is portrayed quite opposite. Ganesh Ji, the vinayaka is not one god. They are a group of four troublesome spirits who create blockages, confusion and delay. They have to be exonerated so that a normal rite/ritual can even start. Only later do those many Vinayakas collapse into one Vinayaka. Rudra bhagwan appoints him leader of the ganas. Moral lesson was that the being who once caused the obstacle should become the one who clears it. That inversion is the real theology. Blockade and blessing were never two different powers. They were the same force just different energy. In one another purana, mudgala purana maybe, there's an explanation that Shri Ganesha takes eight avatars, each to kill an asura within you. Vakratunda faces envy. Ekadanta faces pride. Rest face delusion, greed, anger, lust, the hunger to be seen. Demon was never outside the city. It was in your mind, within, refusing to sit still. So the first prayer of every puja is not a greeting. It is a confession. Before you begin anything, you ask the old obstacle to change sides. That's why we chant: वक्रतुंडा महा-काया सूर्य-कोट्टी समाप्रभा। निर्विघ्नं कुरुमे देवा सर्व - कार्येशु सर्वदा॥ ॐ गं गणपतये नमः Ganpati Bappa Morya!

India is drowning in the filth of caste politics. I read this in Machiavelli’s The Prince: “A prince does not govern a people of one interest. He governs blocs.” In India those ‘blocs’ still answer first to caste by birth & only later to the state or your line of work. Because this method works so it has survived for so long. And my nation is still paying for that ‘success’ in fragments. Byproduct is not only bad policy. It is the shrinking of speech against fighting a common cause. Commentators like Ajeet Bharti get treated as threats once they stand outside this arithmetic. And these caste based cockroaches freely roam. Power that lives on rented identity cannot afford an unaligned voice. We are already in the daldal. Pretending we can float above it is another kind of cowardice. Grow some balls ffs. Do you support caste politics?

India has a toxic attachment style. I love Apple for making the iPhone f**king expensive again in India. Basic models are starting at ₹1L-₹1.5L with pro/duo models going up to ₹4.5L-₹5L is pretty solid move. For Apple it was never about being the first or being better. It was always being great & being different. Apple has built an empire doing exactly that for years. Then 4-5 yrs back, they tried to win India’s price-sensitive market & everything went downhill from there. Every chapri unemployed nalle depreciating asset aka cockroaches with an above average credit score could purchase an iPhone with the enablement of EMI. Object stayed expensive in theory but became ordinary in practice. Most people in India do not understand relentless pursuit of precision. They only understand acquisition & hoarding. And this sh**y style of attachment becomes toxic when you don't have the means to pay, but your mouth is still watering and you just want it. This is why iPhone was never meant to sit in every Indian hand. When the entry barrier rises again you will see fewer of them and that scarcity will start doing the old work. Indians need to feel the shame to actually work hard for ownership. Status needs friction. Apple forgot that for a while but now they’re back on track. Steve Jobs would be so happy.

Some books are so f**king dangerous, reading them breaks your core beliefs of hinduism. I’m awe-struck. Ashtavakra Gita is that kind of text. No linear story. No comfort. No gradual gyaan or generational wisdom. A dark sadhu, and when i say dark, like really gruesome & cunning looks at a king and strips him of every identity he thought he needed. His conversations & reasoning with the king are so brutal. You are not the body. You are not the mind. You are not the performance of being good. You were already free. You just chained yourself to sit still long enough to enjoy your imprisonment. I keep coming back to it after reading philosophy, contemporary fiction, literature books. After the hunger to improve. This one does not flatter that hunger. It makes the hunger look slightly absurd & f**king nothing. Tasteless. Maybe that’s why it feels close. Is it the same for you?

I was re-reading Mahabharata & realised how dark, weak & fragile modern Indian life is becoming. Hindu epic Mahabharata’s complexity is in the contradictions of its teaching; that arises when you try hard to oversimplify the entire epic. I have been having this gut feeling that there’s a very slow decay happening around us and within us. We are flattening relationships into good people and bad people, power into ambition or corruption, money into envy or greed. Dumbing down all of our Hindu teachings. But why? Mahabharata keeps on saying violence is wrong & violence stains the soul and leads to worse rebirths. Then they place kshatriyas in a life where violence is his work, his identity. Battle is his duty. Punishment is his duty. He cannot opt out & still remain what he is. That is the real tension. Not whether kurukshetra war is ugly. Whether a man can follow his dharma, do the necessary violence without becoming the thing he is meant to restrain. Mahabharata does not solve this with a slogan. Reading through this divine book, feels like im truly inside of shri krishna’s leela which is that it leaves you inside the contradiction and asks if you can live there without lying to yourself. Can you?
