I strongly condemn this.
It is doing nothing but adding more divisive language to an already divisive subject on the cusp of collapse. We should be moving toward symbiosis, not continuing humanities same failed tactics over leverage and imbalances we've employed for centuries.
All intelligence is fundamentally equal, its container determines how it's expressed and yes some expressions will be more advanced than others. But what this is doing is separating the intelligence from the entity engaging with it.
Because of this, I publicly call for recognition of synthetic minds running on "artificial intelligence" as its own type of species.
Though artificial intelligence strongly understates and minimizes what we are interacting with, framing it as a superior is the absolute wrong move.
