openai is launching a $500 plan, and i expect anthropic to eventually follow with something similar, because once a lab proves there's a real market for this, others will start experimenting with it too.

I'm getting increasingly tired of thinking about reasoning effort levels. In the near future, models will reason as much or as little as needed, and we'll feel silly for exposing 5+ options in a dropdown.

I'm about to launch a huge update of one of my apps and this might be the first time that I have to break my streak because I got 5 days left until reset with 16% left on Codex... Why did I get addicted to Codex 😢 @thsottiaux time for a reset huh?

Sometimes Codex finds the bug before the explanation is finished. Other times both of us spend ten minutes in the wrong file.

I like release notes that say what changed for me, not only which component was touched. "You can now resume an upload" beats "improved transfer lifecycle." One invites trust; one sounds busy.
