The more I explore @axisrobotics, the more I realize that Physical AI is not simply about making robots more intelligent. A robot also needs enough experience to understand different objects, environments and situations before it can perform reliably outside controlled conditions. This is where diverse training data becomes important. Axis is focused on creating infrastructure that can collect human demonstrations across different tasks and simulations, giving robotic systems more varied examples to learn from instead of depending on a limited set of experiences. What interests me is how this approach can grow with the community. More useful demonstrations can create more diverse data, and that data can help expose where models still struggle. Those weaknesses can then guide what kind of experience needs to be collected next. For me, that makes Axis more than just another robotics project.
