The private sector is one of WFP's most important partners in the fight against hunger. In 2025 alone, private sector partners contributed more than $315 million to WFP's work, bringing total support since 2020 to over $2 billion. These partnerships help WFP respond faster, reach farther, and deliver more for vulnerable communities. #UNGA

At Kyangwali refugee settlement in #Uganda: 🔴 7 in 10 households have reduced their daily meals. 🔴 Malnutrition among children under 5 has risen nearly 50% in one year. Urgent, flexible and predictable funding is critical to protect lifesaving assistance for refugee families. #UNGA

🌀 When a hurricane is approaching, every hour matters. In #Barbados, WFP and partners position relief supplies in advance so assistance can move quickly when an emergency strikes. Investing before disaster is smarter and more effective than waiting for needs to escalate. #UNGA
