في إطار التزام منظمة الصحة العالمية المستمر بدعم الشباب وتمكينهم بوصفهم شركاء أساسيين في تعزيز الصحة، استقبلت الدكتورة جميلة الراعبي، ممثلة منظمة الصحة العالمية في العراق، برفقة الفريق التقني للمنظمة، السيدة سعدية فليح، رئيسة منظمة معاً (Together NGO)، وهي منظمة تُعنى بتمكين الشباب وتعزيز مشاركتهم في المجتمع العراقي.
وناقش اللقاء فرص التعاون في عدد من الأولويات الصحية، بما في ذلك الصحة النفسية، ومقاومة مضادات الميكروبات، وإساءة استخدام المواد، وتغير المناخ والصحة، والأمراض السارية وغير السارية.
ومن خلال تعزيز التعاون مع منظمات المجتمع المدني المعنية بالشباب، تسعى منظمة الصحة العالمية إلى تعزيز إدماج الشباب ومشاركتهم الفاعلة في البرامج والمبادرات الصحية، بما يسهم في تطوير استجابات صحية أكثر شمولاً واستدامة تلبي احتياجات المجتمعات في مختلف أنحاء العراق.
As part of WHO’s continued commitment to supporting and empowering young people as key partners in advancing health, Dr Jameela Al-Raiby, WHO Representative in Iraq, together with the WHO technical team, welcomed Ms. Saadia Fleih, Head of Together NGO, an organization dedicated to empowering and engaging young people across Iraqi communities.
The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration across key health priorities, including mental health, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), substance misuse, climate change and health, and communicable and noncommunicable diseases.
Through strengthened collaboration with youth-focused civil society organizations, WHO aims to further integrate young people and strengthen their meaningful participation in health programmes and initiatives, contributing to more inclusive and sustainable health responses that address the needs of communities across Iraq.
