Utterly shocked that people didn’t like this.
The soaring price of diesel shouldn’t lead us to forget that the Trump Administration and Congress’s signature policy has been taking away health care and nutrition benefits from people struggling to afford the basics to pay for tax cuts tilted to the wealthy.

Not only did it cut poverty in half, the expanded child tax credit reduced food insecurity, and helped pay for education and child care costs. wvpolicy.org/the-enhanced-ch…
The Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Tax Credit cut child poverty rates by about 25% last year – less than the previous year.
A CTC expansion in 2021 helped reduce child poverty rates by half.
Congress can do more to improve these programs.
