cost of NIMBYsm grows more by the day. this site had VMU2 entitlements before a small group of housing opponents found a NIMBY-curious judge to overturn everything costing us housing, park space, tax base and so much more
This is disappointing. The Twin Oaks redevelopment project at S. Congress & Oltorf has switched developers. Instead of nearly 1K housing units and a hotel, it's now planned as a modern retail only strip mall. It's at the terminus of the future light rail line, and 1K housing units would have been ideal.
