Regulators moving toward blockchain adoption in finance raises the bar on what security means for these networks. Any infrastructure carrying regulated financial data needs cryptography that holds up well beyond today's threat model, extending into future threat landscapes

This could be a big one for tokenized real estate in the UK. Clearer room for blockchain use makes it much easier for the sector to grow.

⚡️ Crypto Credit Markets Landscape The crypto credit landscape spans three layers, CeFi lenders and exchanges extending direct and margin credit. DeFi protocols like @Aave and @Morpho offering fully onchain credit, and RWA platforms like @Ondo and @Maplefinance connecting crypto capital to treasuries, private credit and real estate. $NEXO $SYRUP $CFG $GFI $BNB $AAVE $COMP $MORPHO $SKY $CRV $ONDO 👉 @Cointelegraph

uk regulators finally figured out blockchains are faster than their paperwork. now if only theyd discover crypto cards that actually let you spend digital assets in the real world. one step at a time i guess

Chainlink coded...
UPDATE: Chainlink’s innovations in the Bank of England’s Synchronisation Lab continue to accelerate. We've now shown how the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) unlocks synchronized settlement between central bank money and tokenized assets on public ledgers. Three key custom components were built on top of CRE: 1. A Chainlink Labs Synchronisation Operator UI to initiate transactions, build onchain instructions, and track status. 2. A CRE UI showing the activity across deployed CRE workflows. 3. A central bank UI to confirm transactions. Together, these enable an operator to seamlessly and securely coordinate settlement across traditional payment systems and onchain environments leveraging Chainlink infrastructure.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they adopt your tech. The irony is beautiful.

this is part of a bigger roadmap. the fca is specifically drafting rules for tokenized gold right now to keep london competitive as a bullion hub. the real goal is to get tokenized gov bonds live by early 2027.
