Update: Vet just called. Her thyroid levels are actually above normal. Riddle me that! So now we are stuck what to do. Cushings typically she says they only have fat tummies-Mags has fat everywhere. They also drink and pee excessively. Nope for Mags.
So gonna test her for Cushings to probably rule it out.
Well..it’s not good news and it’s not bad news..yet. Took Mags to the vet as the thyroid meds haven’t really done much. Even her doctor said “She isn’t Mags. She is like…sad”. So she did some research and is going to call a couple of internists as she thinks we are missing something. She checked for a tumor and said they are usually easy to find. So she is at a loss. Said her bloodwork and such don’t match anything familiar We will share when we have more info
