This is becoming an organic benchmark
This video inspired me to really push Opus 5.5 and test its limits. I followed the general workflow Donald described here and the results are great

Yes.
There's actually huge alpha in post-training custom models and not enough people are talking about it IMO

A liberal but rational society has a distinct gap between what is normal and what is acceptable. Overly liberal societies seek to normalize everything they find acceptable. Overly conservative societies won’t accept what they can’t normalize.

continuous learning isn't just a goal for model training. AI is a tool for people and people run the economy.

Those that live in the "real world" vastly underestimate how quickly stochastic gradient descent can encompass any knowledge domain. But also those that worship stochastic gradient descent vastly overestimate the rate domain IQ translates into productivity.
On @theinformation's TITV this morning. Everyone calling takeoff should spend an afternoon watching an agent try to build an LBO. We put 11 frontier models inside a working simulated investment firm, on entry level jobs that take a person 15 to 30 hours. Best one scored 12%. One of them invented a tax treatment, checked its work against the thing it made up, and passed itself. These are good copilots. They are not doing anyone's job outside of SWE yet.

SEPT ’26: HUMANS STILL VERY MUCH HAVE JOBS. AI isn't even close to meeting the standard required of the most junior professionals in banking, advisory, and private equity today. ATLAS Finance agents must navigate complexity like a human does: "Johnny you just got staffed - check your email." Human: 100%. Best AI: 12%. Agents have access to data rooms, email, chat, calendars, docs, notes, Excel, etc. Our real finance professionals pushed the realism frontier further by building dozens of coworker and client personas that introduce ambiguity, (controlled) contradictions, and real-time updates that must be adjudicated to successfully complete the client-ready deliverable. We gave 11 frontier models 100 expert-level tasks that each take humans 15–30 hours. On Wall Street there's a saying, "If it's 95% right, it's 100% wrong." Autonomous knowledge work outside software still has a very long way to go.

PETER THIEL CALLED IT. The Antichrist wouldn’t build the doomsday machine. This clip aged terrifyingly well. Peter Thiel predicted in June, 26, 2025 exactly what is happening right now with Anthropic, Coxon and the AI-safety landscape. “The way the Antichrist would take over the world is you talk about Armageddon non-stop, you talk about existential risk non-stop.” The 'Antichrist' wouldn’t seize power by creating an AI apocalypse, but by CONVINCING everyone that the apocalypse was coming and then offering safety in exchange for CONTROL. A must watch.

NEW: President Trump reacts to recent, concerning reports about AI and answers whether the industry should be more regulated. "We're leading China in AI, we're the most sophisticated country in the world. And frankly, I want to keep it that way because whoever wins AI, wins."

Contrast the present hysteria with Los Alamos. The Manhattan Project scientists thought the first nuclear explosion could ignite the atmosphere and end humanity. They did the math. They determined it wouldn’t. And they proceeded. Because they weren’t fighting a thought experiment. They were fighting the Nazis. Effective Altruism inverts this. Multiply a sufficiently horrifying hypothetical future by enough hypothetical future humans and suddenly speculation acquires the moral authority of fact. That’s not empiricism. It’s secular eschatology. Take risks seriously. Do the work. Engineer against them. But don’t confuse the ability to imagine the apocalypse with the authority to rule the present.
