I"ve driven a vehicle at 140-160+ mph on a professional race course & interstate highway. The previous becasue owners recognized my talents & asked me to push their vehicles... the later because my brother was reportively dying in a hospital emergency room. My 1990 Chevy SS truck overheated several times on that 125 mile trip at full throttle & barely cranked the next day after he survived emergency surgury & I went to find a hotel room. Several times on that journey I ran 160÷ mph on interstate 75 & arrived 10 minutes behind the helicopter that delivered my brother for emersurgery surgery.

#PPOD: The Telescope That Discovered Neptune 🔭
On September 23, 1846, astronomer Johann Gottfried Galle pointed this Fraunhofer refracting telescope toward a predicted location in the night sky and identified #Neptune, the eighth planet in our solar system. The discovery came after astronomers Urbain Le Verrier and John Couch Adams independently used irregularities in Uranus’s orbit to calculate where an unseen planet should be.
Galle found Neptune less than one degree from Le Verrier’s predicted position, making its discovery a remarkable demonstration of Newtonian gravity and celestial mechanics. The nine-inch Fraunhofer refractor, built around 1826–1827 and considered one of the finest telescopes of its era, is now part of the Deutsches Museum collection in Munich.

Earthquake in Metro Atlanta.
A magnitude 2.1 earthquake this morning was centered near Forest Park and Riverdale in Clayton County. This is only 10 miles south of Atlanta.
To be even more specific, the epicenter is near the intersection of Ash Street and Patricia Drive.
