OCTOBER 7, 2023: SHE KNEW SHE WAS GOING TO DIE.
Libi Cohen-Meguri, a 22-year-old infantry officer, went to the Nova music festival.
She was shot while fleeing the party. At 8:11 a.m., she called her parents and said:
“I’ve been shot in the stomach, I’ve been shot in the arm, I’m losing blood. I’m going to die.”
Calmly, quietly, she understood; these were the last minutes of her life.
She asked her parents to call Tomer, her twin brother, and Maya, her little sister, and said:
“I’m going to die. I just want you to listen to me.
I love you, Yariv. You’re the best father I could have asked for.
Mom, stop screaming. Just listen to me. You are the best mother we could have ever had. Don’t forget to be a good mother to Tomer and Maya after I die.
Tomer, how lucky we were to live this life together. I love you.
My Maya, never forget—you are the treasure of my life.”
When she finished speaking, her parents told her to get out of the car, lie down on the road, and pretend to be dead.
With her last bit of strength, she got out of the car and laid down on the road.
“Mom, they’re coming to shoot me again,” Libi said after lying down.
While her mother listened on the phone, shouts in Arabic could be heard, and then a barrage of gunfire.
It didn’t stop.
It kept going, until the call was disconnected.
And that’s how Libi died—with demonic beasts from the pit of hell standing over her and emptying a full magazine into her body.
Libi died with LOVE on her lips: love for life, love for her family, and love for her people.
Her memory will forever be a blessing.

I’m told the boat Danny Tommo slashed could carry 70 illegals. Each one costing the British taxpayer £55k per year. So assuming that boat went on to be used once per week, that would be £200m per year. Not a bad saving. That deserves an MBE not a court case!

She described how hard-right activists and “plastic patriots” arriving from outside the village have used fear to organise hostility towards plans to house 1,200 asylum seekers, bringing overt racism into what had always been a peaceful community.
When @vicderbyshire said local women were worried about 1,200 male asylum seekers, Rachel rightly reframed it:
“Women would be worried about 1,200 men from anywhere.”
Legitimate questions about the scale and management of the site must be answered. But women’s safety must not be weaponised to portray every asylum seeker as a sexual threat.
Rachel eventually broke down while describing what it feels like to discover that she is living among such prejudice.
An excellent, courageous interview. It will deeply upset all the usual people which rather proves her point.

On the Palestinian Authority you are calling on Israel to support financially. The PA operates the Martyrs Fund, a programme enshrined in Palestinian law requiring seven percent of the PA's annual budget to be allocated to payments to terrorists and their families. It amounts to over $300 million every year. A terrorist serving a life sentence earns four times the average Palestinian salary and more than Palestinian teachers and doctors. The more Israelis killed, the higher the payment. The US State Department confirmed in February 2026 that the PA continued the fund under a different name, paying $200 million to militants and their families in 2025 alone, with $315 million projected for 2026. Britain recognised a Palestinian state whose governing body pays bonuses for murder. On international law being clear. International law is clear on many things that these nine nations consistently ignore. It is clear on the prohibition of torture. Several signatories maintain diplomatic and trading relationships with states that practise it systematically. It is clear on the right to self determination. Several signatories have said nothing about the Uyghurs, the Tibetans or the Kurds. It is clear on the prohibition of ethnic cleansing. Pakistan is conducting it right now against Afghans and not one of these nine nations has issued a joint statement.
International law is not being applied consistently. It is being applied selectively. The selection criterion is not the severity of the breach. It is the identity of the state committing it. The same one. Every time. Israel.
On recognising a Palestinian state. Britain recognised Palestine in May 2024. The Palestinian Authority governs the West Bank with a democratic mandate that expired in 2007. It has not held an election since. The state Britain recognised is governed by an institution whose democratic legitimacy ran out nearly two decades ago and whose budget includes a line item for paying the families of people who stab Jewish civilians on the streets of Israeli cities.
The E1 settlement is a planning dispute in a contested area. Thirty thousand Iranians killed in 48 hours is a massacre. The United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Norway and the Netherlands found time for one and not the other. That tells you everything about whose suffering is considered politically useful and whose is not.
