It shouldn't have to be said, but the way the Dwayne Haskins news broke on Twitter today, this is a good reminder: athletes are PEOPLE. They aren't commodities. They have families. They have fears, loves and emotions. Please remember that when Tweeting, reporting, etc. Be better.

I needed that Ted Lasso episode tonight. As a former athlete always criticized and judged for crying, having fear, and as a result being called a head case (which I now realize was me dealing with crippling anxiety) this episode healed a small part of me.
