When I was 18 and a newly minted NYC resident I made such an appointment to go see the Barbara Newhall Follett Papers at Columbia. Was very cool! Wish I still possessed such eagerness 😅
very little known fact but some museums and archives have a system where you can just request things and make an appointment to see them. you generally don’t need any special credentials. the met in NYC has one, for example. i saw this myself in person in their study room there.

Validity Transactions are coming to Base in the upcoming Cobalt upgrade later this month
Essentially, they let you specify "predicates" - certain onchain criteria that must be met for your transaction to be included in a block.
Transactions whose predicates don't get met just expire instead of reverting and wasting gas fees onchain

Base is rolling out Validity Transactions in the upcoming Cobalt upgrade (est. end of month).
In short, these are transactions (EIP-2930 or EIP-1559) that execute only when specific onchain conditions are met, thus enabling conditional transaction flows.
