Ahmed appears to have worked on Klobuchar’s first U.S. Senate campaign in 2006. Other articles identify her as a staffer. Campaign finance records suggest she was paid nearly $8,000. The Klobuchar and Flanagan campaigns have not responded to requests for comment.
