I worry many aren’t panicked enough about the prospect of Crowley with a Dem trifecta and majority on the Supreme Court. This won’t be goofy old Evers battling the R controlled legislature with a shrewd operator like Vos at the helm. If Crowley wins and takes the legislature with him it will be a fundamental and generational restructuring of Wisconsin and they’ll believe they have the mandate to do it. Like many Gen Z conservatives who came of age during Covid, I remember the time-table of events in WI during Covid. The governor abusing his authority to issue stay at home orders and never ending 60-day mask mandates. Stopped only through the legislature’s termination of his orders and suing to get cases to the Supreme Court. Wisconsin conservatives are not prepared for somebody of the left Evers with ZERO, literally zero, check on his power. This isn’t a third term of Evers, it’s something fundamentally different. Karen Basura says we don't need an election because a Republican cannot win, and Xavier Basura is "already the governor". This is so revealing. This is what happens when you have one-party rule: these politicians take you for granted and don't even TRY to earn your vote. Becerra isn't even campaigning. If you democrats actually want your politicians to DO something for you, you need to hand them an L once in a while, to keep them honest so they actually TRY to earn your vote.
