@Progressive My wife was hit by a distracted Uber driver today. Both have Progressive. Her car was undrivable. We spent NINE HOURS stranded in 100°+ heat while your tow dispatches FAILED, then paid $150 ourselves after being DENIED a tow from you!!! How is this acceptable?

For context: the accident happened at 9:10 AM. We got home at 6:15 PM. We spent the entire day with Progressive as tow companies accepted the job, made us wait, then canceled or claimed they couldn’t find us. Her damaged car was sitting in a busy parking lot in a fire lane.

After all that, we were told we could pay $150 for our own tow and MAYBE be reimbursed, or potentially wait up to 72 hours for an adjuster on the at-fault driver’s claim to arrange one. The other driver was an Uber driver en route to pick up a fare. We need help.
