So good. Taps into the same vein of Americana that Springsteen did. Perhaps caused such a stir in people because that Americana is now dormant, less recognizable in today's America as it was in Springsteen's time, yet still clearly present in some manner because it resonates with so many.
all these tweets about An American Dream by Brandon Flowers don’t even have the best part of the song in the video

Switching from 5 sets to 3 would destroy tennis. Tennis is incredible because it pushes the athlete to the absolute limit, mentally and physically. It's only in that environment that momentum shifts, absurd points, and great moments happen. Removal of 5 sets would steal the game's soul.
Carlos Alcaraz says getting rid of 5 set matches would kill the legacy of Grand Slams “If we take that away and play best of 3, I think we’re just killing the legacy of the Grand Slams… we’ve been playing best of 5 in Grand Slams since the beginning.”

Choice 1: Recycled plastic bottle clothing. -Leaches microplastics and chemicals onto your skin and into the environment. -Still ends up in a landfill. Not biodegradable. Choice 2: 100% organic cotton fabric. -Natural undyed biodegradable cotton body. No leaching, no toxic chemicals.

This is a 70s era Springsteen song. Freedom, appeal to god, hope, against the odds, American spirit, open road to anywhere
Can someone who understands music explain to me why this song is so incredibly good? I’ve listened to the album cut 50+ times. It moves me deeply. I’m not even sure why. The imagery. The verse about Elvis & Lisa Marie. Masterful.

“Lu failed Moose.” See? Anchorage has one 24 hour ER for animals. What’s the population of Anchorage? 200k? We called every available pet hospital. We were waitlisted. Finally we just waited in a lobby. We were told “your best bet is waiting for (insert other vet)”. We were told three times the working vet at different locations was in emergency surgery and unavailable. When we did get seen we got excellent care. So what do pit bull enthusiasts do? Lash out with callous disregard for other humans. Abject cruelty. Much like…. pit bulls.

Liberty Tabletop is one of our most popular recommendations for people searching for ‘Made in USA _____’ they also make fantastic spatulas and other kitchen tools. Please check them out if you’re in the market
In 2005, Oneida shut the flatware factory in Sherrill, New York. A town that had made silverware for MORE THAN 100 YEARS was supposed to be finished. Two men refused to let that happen. Their names are Matt Roberts and Greg Owens. Roberts had managed that factory. Owens was another former Oneida manufacturing manager. When the company ended U.S. production, they bought the plant and the equipment and reopened it the NEXT DAY as Sherrill Manufacturing. They did not have a giant rescue fund. They did not have a Hollywood ending waiting. They had a building, some machines, and a workforce that knew how to make forks, knives, and spoons. At first they kept making product for Oneida. Then Oneida pulled the remaining American work and sent it overseas. That should have been the end. It wasn’t. They took government flatware contracts to keep the lights on. In 2010 they filed Chapter 11. They sold unused equipment. They sold space they could no longer fill. They leased back only the part of the factory they could still run. They came out of bankruptcy in 2013. Then they did the thing that saved the company. They built their own brand: Liberty Tabletop. They sold 18/10 stainless flatware straight to customers who wanted tableware MADE IN THE UNITED STATES. Not through a department store that could drop them overnight. Direct. Today Liberty Tabletop is the only company still manufacturing stainless steel flatware in America. Same town. Same trade. U.S. steel. About 70 jobs. They did not bring back 2,000 workers. Nobody did. What they saved was the last line. If you want American-made forks and spoons, this is the factory that still makes them. Support Liberty Tabletop. THIS is what keeping manufacturing in America actually looks like. 🇺🇸

Being a food normie is so convenient. You go on google maps, tap restaurants, and it's endless options of gluttonous consumption.

Contrast that to being health conscious. Immediately the map shrinks to 2-4 places in the entire city. Everywhere else: crap ingredients, over salted, poorly made, flavorless, reheated in plastic, overpriced. Doesn't even make a good cheat meal because you don't even desire it.

There needs to be some kind of Fair Trade certification for made in USA products to discern who is paying their employees a livable wage and who isn’t.

There should also be a certification to show your company employs local Americans and not imported slave labor.
