🇺🇸 USD 2 billion in tokenized assets by 2028. @exame has highlighted the renewal of the partnership between Liqi and XDC Network — and this announcement represents much more than a new volume commitment. We are seeing tokenization evolve from experimental projects into real financial market infrastructure. Liqi already has more than USD 500 million in assets tokenized on the XDC Network, including structured credit transactions originated within the regulated financial market. Now, the partnership’s commitment reaches USD 2 billion in tokenized assets by 2028. As I mentioned to EXAME, what matters most is not only the volume, but the quality of the assets moving on-chain. We are talking about credit originated by regulated institutions and market participants, with blockchain becoming an effective part of the infrastructure supporting these transactions. This is exactly the evolution we have been working to build in Brazil: blockchain moving beyond a technological promise and becoming part of the infrastructure of capital and credit markets. Brazil’s 2nd largest bank by volume of deposits, @itau, has joined more than 50 institutions participating in an ANBIMA initiative testing tokenized bonds and investment funds. The significance is that the institutions that could ultimately use this infrastructure are participating in the development of the standards around it.
