BatchV1_1 is now activating on the XRP Ledger.🔥 It currently has 29/35 validators voting in support, with 82.86% consensus. If support stays above the required 80% threshold for the full 14-day period, the amendment is set for activation on September 29. So, what exactly does this mean? You can now bundle up to 8 transactions together and have them execute as one coordinated operation. For example, a swap can involve sending one asset, receiving another, and paying a fee without having to handle each action as a separate transaction. This opens up some interesting possibilities for: • Atomic swaps • NFT-to-NFT trades • NFT + token swaps • DeFi applications • Apps that need multiple actions to happen together And yes, this is BatchV1_1, the corrected version of the original Batch Amendment. 5 BILLION transactions. 🚀 The XRP Ledger has officially crossed 5 billion all-time transactions. A huge milestone for a network that has been processing activity since 2012. But milestones like this aren't just about numbers. They represent years of builders, users, payments, assets and applications putting the XRPL to work. At XRPL Africa, we’re proud to play our part in growing that ecosystem, introducing more people to the technology, supporting builders, and creating more opportunities for Africans to build on XRPL. 5B and counting.🌍

It was a privilege for @XRPLCanada to present to 44 global graduate students from Switzerland, South Korea, and China covering the core architecture and consensus mechanisms of the XRP Ledger, its institutional utility, real-world asset tokenization, and the Canadian regulatory picture. We ran a live coding session on the XRPL testnet, walking through the full transaction lifecycle: connecting to the network, funding a wallet, sending a payment, issuing a token, and trading it on the ledger’s built-in DEX. We had a particularly thoughtful discussion around validator design and what institutions need before trusting a public ledger with enterprise-grade applications.
