Mastercard Deepens XRP Ledger Push With New Initiative Mastercard has joined the upcoming XRP Ledger Hackathon in New York as a sponsor. XRP Ledger Validator Defends XRP Reserve Rules XRP Ledger validator Hussein Zangana, known as Vet, says he opposes lowering XRPL reserve requirements without proof that the network would remain equally protected against spam and DDoS attacks. Vet argued the current reserve helps safeguard storage and memory resources, adding that a 1 $XRP base reserve is unlikely to discourage legitimate users.
