It's half of 10% of $300. You just move the decimal one place
to the left and chop that number in half. That's something you can just see when you look at it
Step 1: Remove the %
Step 2: 100-95 = 5
Step 3: 5 x 3 = 15
Step 4: 300 - 15 = 285
