Eventually, we’ll stop saying “tokenized.” It’ll just be finance.

Glad to see this finally ship. It was abundantly clear to me that basically every retail narrative starts on X—yet the insights were never directly actionable. This is just one small step in closing the gap.

So in less than a week and Robinhood just went full send: July 1st: launched their own chain (Robinhood Chain, an L2 on Arbitrum) same week: tokenized stocks live earn on Stablecoin in the US: 7% on $USDG, Paxos’s stablecoin yesterday: more DEX volume than Hyperliquid. $433M vs $296M. Normally @HyperliquidX is the one wearing the crown. Rare to see it go the other way atm 👀 and 27 million American retail users are now going on-chain quietly, right inside the app they already open every day. nobody else has that kind of distribution atm, no idea if it holds but with the current market mood I did not see these numbers coming.

POV: it’s totally fine to feel bullish on Bitcoin even when the market is bearish. If you’ve been around for a few cycles, that’s just what happens. being optimistic about the most bullish asset with the biggest asymmetric upside is a natural mindset, and it’s okay if you actually get more bullish as the price drops. Right now, everyone seems to agree around $45k 👀 let’s see what’s next

Hyperliquid / $HYPE thoughts… Right now, about 90% of the platform’s fees are used to buy back and burn $HYPE. This is a big reason why the price keeps going up. But many people overlook something important: Hyperliquid’s team reportedly controls about 66–70% of the voting power. That means they can change the system if they want. For example, they could reduce buybacks from 90% to 20% and use the rest of the money elsewhere. No one could realistically stop them. That’s the real risk for $HYPE holders. Not technical analysis or market sentiment. As it stands, the tokenomics are designed to push the price higher over time. The key question is whether the team will stay aligned with holders when large amounts of money are involved. In crypto, history shows that greed and governance abuse happen more often than people like to admit.
