Why should I get this when I could just go to a restaurant? The food would be close to this price, and better.

This looks like big city pricing. I don't eat BK but I have seen the prices recently and it is NOT this expensive. The meal would've been 12.99 and the sandwich only around 8.99.

Could also maybe be airport prices? I rarely ever eat fast food anymore, so I don’t really know.

But you'd have to get out of your car.

Save up and buy a BBQ, for $20 you could get a box of burgers and pack of buns.

GoySlop. “Why is gut cancer on the rise” “What do you eat” Over a days calories, soy enriched & processed chemical-infused mimicry that resembles food. At 8$ minimum wage, this “meal” costs 4 hours of work after taxes.

I used to say that about Five Guys years ago. Now it applies to every fast food place.

Or just make it yourself at home. We have to teach these shameless price gougers a lesson by boycotting all of their shit. Until then, nothing will change.

Because of free chimpout fight might break out at any moment and you don't want to miss that. That's worth the price of admission.

the bacon king actually slaps but dude it's huge lol like a heart attack. this price is too high, but in the rare occasions i get one i get the single patty version (which isn't on the menu and is cheaper and not as immediate of a heart attack but just as good)

Oh look... $8 worth of meat for 3 burgers 1/3 pound each. It's almost like I responsibly save money by cooking instead of eating out or paying premium fees to have it delivered. 3 REAL 1/3 pound burgers after toppings and buns was about $3.33 per burger.

Depending on how much you value 1 hour of your life, you can also spend the afternoon going to the grocery store and cook it yourself for even cheaper and better results.

The prices have honestly become close enough that if you don't mind waiting (waiting at a restaurant table and sitting on your phone if you're alone isn't so bad), get a better meal. A lot of people who get fast food have the time, it's just the price and convenience that has gotten them. Now it is less convenient, and honestly the people they hire are such scum they keep all the sodas flat and the grease old and all these mishaps that add up to a really shitty meal. The quality has declined significantly. It has shown that they do not deserve a living wage if they cannot even surpass the fast food level of real life with achievements.

In my town, there's a Black Bear Diner across the street from a Carl's Jr. Carl's Jr. crossed that line years ago, where buying lunch for my family was more expensive there, than at the Black Bear. Black Bear's portions are bigger. I rarely eat at Carl's Jr, anymore.
