Amongst a few other things, this conversation makes me feel like thereβs a lot of under-classification with these NBA labels like two-way player, 3&D, three-level scorer, etc. Theyβre useful as quick descriptions, but way too broad for how different every player actually is.
There are different levels and versions of every label, and two players can technically fit the same one while having very different strengths, weaknesses and overall impact. We simplify players way too much when the sport is way more nuanced than that.
Honestly I kinda just assumed we were all on the same page that Klay was a 3 and d player; do yβall think thatβs an unfair classification for him?
