Update: I reverted to the 9/29/26 version of MS office and things worked again. Apparently newer versions trigger the "BUY OFFICE 365 YOU COMPUTER-ILLITERATE DUMMY" message.
WTF! I bought a lifetime license for @Microsoft Office 2021...but now Word won't open and I'm being told that my license expired and I need to purchase @microsoft365. Help?
