Kevin Warsh voted hold, so short term rates are flat. But the market doesn't trust him, so 30 year bonds (meaning your mortgage) are up. That's the issue with picking a sycophant

At least part of this is marketing, but the claim is that ChatGPT broke out of its sandbox, escaped to the internet, and hacked HuggingFace (with a zero-day vulnerability) to access the answers to the test. Is it time to at least discuss firebombing the data centers now?
We're partnering with @huggingface to investigate an unprecedented security incident. Cyber-capable OpenAI models compromised Hugging Face production during a benchmark evaluation. Sharing preliminary findings to help defenders understand emerging risks: openai.com/index/hugging-fac…

Go team USA! I have been to Belgium, it sucks. Brussels should be fun (beer and fries!) but instead it's boring and no AC. They invented Tintin in 1929 and have done nothing since. The Tintin museum's lack of AC was horrible

Proof I've thought Brussels sucks for a year+. Even their museum recognized that US comics are superior

I've been saying this guy sucks since undergrad, finally the mask is off. Obviously we want the US to win!
The definition of a true fan: You’d rather see your team lose fairly than win unfairly.

I imagine the average FIFA official looks like the comically fat and corrupt cop from WONKA (2023) who accepted chocolate bribes

USMNT vs. Belgium at home tomorrow night. Only one man can give the pump up speech our side needs to hear. Fortunately, he's currently unemployed

Incredible. Of course George Santos, like many criminals, insider trades. But only he would answer NPR’s questions with quotes like “I'm not saying yes, I'm not saying no”
NEW: DOJ is investigating former congressman George Santos for insider trading on Kalshi npr.org/2026/06/02/nx-s1-584…

Ironically, PE ownership of sports teams is more equitable than the alternative. when the Red Sox make money it ultimately helps Ontario and LA teachers/pensioners (the investors in PE), instead of a single billionaire owner
Private equity is taking our homes. It's taking our hospitals. It's taking beloved local businesses and stripping them for parts. And now private equity is running the Red Sox into the ground. Our new ad ⬇️

What the people actually yearn for is an era of noblesse-oblige, in which billionaires overspend on public goods (sports teams). Andrew Carnegie as owner, not Bob Nutting

RedBird, among the big bad PE owners of the Red Sox, invest on behalf of Ontario Teachers and LA government workers. Arctos invests on behalf of Texas and New Mexico teachers. Platner is just against funding their pensions

Incredible @jdfmccann show in Boston last night. When he got to the Steelers and the Pope, it felt like the set was written just for me.

Boston and the Bay Area is as stuck in time as the rust belt cities, entirely due to bad housing policy
Top large cities (min. 100k) by % of housing units built before 1939: Buffalo, NY (61%) St. Louis, MO (58%) Providence, RI (55%) Rochester, NY (54%) New Bedford, MA (52%) Cleveland, OH (49%) Pittsburgh, PA (48%) Cambridge, MA (47%) Boston, MA (47%) Berkeley, CA (46%)

Philadelphia fans are violent people. The reason they're hated is because of the reputation they've built as sick, animalistic freaks that have a jail! inside their stadium because they cause so much violence. I hope the flyers lose in the next round.
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO

The Steelers now have a QB with the zoomer haircut. We truly live in the future

Warsh does not give grades at Stanford. If he did, he would realize the GSB, the graduate school he is affiliated with, does not operate this way.
Warnock: What grade would you give the American economy? Warsh: Well, if i gave a student anything other than an A, the dean would summon me because I would've hurt his self-image
