They walk out on Netanyahu at the UN. They stay seated for the Iranian regime that murdered thousands of its own people. That kind of selective hatred isn’t politics. It’s something darker. #UNHypocrisy #WalkOutOnIsrael #IranRegime #StandWithIsrael #Antisemitism #BibiUN #NeverAgain #FreeIran

Anyone running under an 'NDP' banner in the west must be considered a left wing communist now, as the party is awash with racists & far left grievance merchants, not progressives. If BC falls to a Reconciliation-style grifter party like the BC NDP, Canadian people will be fucked. 🇨🇦

Normally I'd say that's ridiculous and no one has ever said that. ..but that was before I realised that mainstream people are actually saying that minorities can't be racist against white people. With a straight (or angry) face
Here again we have the ridiculous claim that trans identifying men do not have the “institutional power“ to rape women and girls. The fact is that you don’t need institutional power to rape. You just need to be able to overpower or intimidate your victim into compliance. As we have seen over and over and over again, trans identifying men have no problem with that. Forced sex is rape. I can’t believe I even have to say that.

Unfortunately we all know the answer to this question 😞
If the @CBC no longer believes 9/11 was a terrorist attack does that mean Osama Bin Laden is no longer a terrorist? 🤔

Why are there foreign troops staging from Canada?
Here we are. These guys are in Canada. Their fight is in India. Really, what are they going to fight from here!!!! How did they get in here in the first place? The Liberals need to answer for this, so does the RCMP, CSIS, Trudeau and Carney.

What ever happened to investigative media as opposed to regurgitative media?
🚨 VANCOUVER SUN: THIS STORY DESERVES A LOT MORE SCRUTINY The Vancouver Sun reports that the B.C. government rejects claims of massive secret land transfers to First Nations. But this is where journalism needs to go deeper. The government's denial should be the starting point of the investigation, not the conclusion. B.C. itself confirms that Crown lands are being transferred under Treaty Land Entitlement and other agreements. As of June 2026, 14 parcels in northeast B.C. had already been transferred, with more expected in 2026 and 2027. (govTogetherBC) At the same time, the Te’mexw treaty negotiations involve five proposed treaties on southern Vancouver Island, with treaty lands that would be governed and managed by the respective Treaty Nations. (BC Government News Archive) So why is the Vancouver Sun essentially allowing the government to say “nothing to see here” without following the paper trail? Where are the maps? Where are the agreements? Who negotiated them? What land is being transferred? What jurisdiction is changing? Who will control the land afterward? What are the financial implications for taxpayers? What commercial or development opportunities are attached? And who ultimately benefits? That is journalism. British Columbians don't need reporters simply repeating the government's talking points. They need reporters willing to scrutinize the government as aggressively as they scrutinize the B.C. Conservatives or any other political party. This isn't about attacking Indigenous rights. It is about investigating government power, constitutional interpretation, land transfers, jurisdiction and public accountability. The Province says these processes provide certainty. Then show us the certainty. Show British Columbians exactly what is changing and why. The people of B.C. are the ones who will ultimately live with the consequences. And they deserve journalism that follows the evidence wherever it leads, not journalism that stops at the government's denial. The microscope needs to be on government too. Because ultimately, it isn't the Vancouver Sun, the NDP, the Conservatives or First Nations governments who will carry the consequences of these decisions. It is the people of British Columbia. #BCPoli #BCPolitics #BritishColumbia #InvestigativeJournalism #Accountability #Transparency #CrownLand #Section35 #IndigenousRights #PropertyRights #Democracy #Taxpayers

Does Canada require different identification if you're "non-white?" No. @XiMeNaKa ifyou want to be considered a journalist it would help to not be deliberately disingenuous. You sound like you work for CBC.

Maybe Canada could try this? This would lower the tax burden for legitimate businesses not participating in the underground economy.
In order to prevent stores from evading taxes, every receipt in Taiwan is automatically a lottery ticket, too, which can win up to $300k, turning customers into voluntary tax auditors:

Never underestimate how crafty JK Rowling actualy is. She managed to shift all the way from progresive liberal to right wing fascist without changing a single one of her political views.

People: "I need a place to live and everything is too expensive" Builders: "The cost of building is too expensive compared to the market price" Govt: "We'll give you taxpayer $ to build anyway" People: "Now there're even more places we can't afford" Govt: "We'll buy those units from the builders with taxpayer money at market prices and rent them to the taxpayers who paid for them" @guyfelicella: "The people are so stupid, why aren't they happy with cake?"

The more the local governments try to shut down political ideas, the more curious I am about what they are trying to shut down.

Truth
One of the first stories I reported for the National Post was the Elliot Lake mall collapse. For a couple days, the entire community was convinced that dozens if not hundreds of victims lie buried under the rubble, even though nobody could name any. The actual death toll was two.

I think I recall hearing that there can be no reconciliation without truth. Maybe we need a little less indoctrination and a little more truth from our governments
There is no denial here. Acknowledging archival evidence is not denial. Asking for documents is not denial. Pointing out that some Indigenous leaders requested schools, wanted them improved, or opposed closures is not denial. That is called history. Denial is when someone refuses to look at evidence because it complicates the story they prefer. The residential school system had abuse, coercion, neglect, cultural destruction, and terrible consequences. That can be true. But it can also be true that some Indigenous communities asked for education, some leaders negotiated for schools, some parents wanted better conditions, and some records do not fit the simplified modern script. Adults can hold more than one fact in their head at the same time. What I reject is the lazy habit of turning every archival complication into “denial.” That is not scholarship. That is narrative protection. If the truth matters, then all the evidence matters. Not just the parts that flatter the current moral fashion.

It's disgusting that a municipal government organization would block a provincial political party from renting public space purely because their political values don't align. If this is an example of the far left trying to match the disgusting behaviour of the far right, then maybe it's time for a centre party?
