Monday update ☕️
Sats per
$MSTR share, Aug 2020 vs now.
> I'm tracking this with CEBE (Common Equity Bitcoin Exposure), a framework created by
@chcbearsfan and published by
@CEBETracker. It counts the BTC per share left for common holders after debt and preferreds. I applied it to Strategy's SEC filings to break down where the gains came from.
>
> Aug 2020: 22,149 sats per share
> Oct 25, 2026: 156,435 sats per share
>
> That's +134,286 sats per share. Where it came from:
>
> 🟢 Selling
$MSTR stock above its value: +121,676
> ⚪ Cash and other: +19,316, mostly turning the 2020 treasury cash into BTC
> 🔵 BTC's price: +2,167
> 🔴 Preferreds incl. dividends: −8,873
> So far the preferreds have been a cost. They pay off only if BTC grows faster than the dividends.
> What sits ahead of common today: each share holds 200,946 sats of BTC. Debt claims 19,980, preferreds claim 39,537, and USD cash adds back 15,006. That leaves 156,435 for common, so about 22% of the BTC is spoken for, net of cash. That's today's claim. The −8,873 above is what the preferreds have cost common since 2020.
> This week's 8-K: no BTC bought and no ATM sales. Strategy bought back 2.07M
$STRC shares for $204.9M in cash, retiring $206.8M of face value. That's +6 sats per share and about $25M less in yearly dividends. The trade-off: USD Cash fell from $447M to $242M, and that money didn't buy BTC.
> Cash on hand is $5.07B, the $4.83B USD Reserve plus $242M of USD Cash. That covers about 40 months (3.4 years) of dividends plus interest at $1.51B a year, assuming
$STRC stays at 12% (the rate resets monthly).

$MSTR is $144.40 this morning (−1.1%), about 1.14x its CEBE value, close to the 1.15x
@CEBETracker showed at Friday's close. At that premium, new stock sales barely add to CEBE and lower raw BTC per share.
