I think there's a lesson to be learned from two young ladies on X last month, especially for the ladies.
These 2 ladies had travel plans.
One wanted to attend an event in Singapore, while the other wanted a vacation in Rwanda and Zanzibar. Both needed money to make their plans happen.
One came up with the idea of turning a dress into advertising space for brands, sold 13 spots, and raised $9,200.
The other used her pictures and online appeal to solicit funds for her vacation, eventually raising β¦1.7 million.
Two different women, two different approaches, but ultimately, similar goals.
One demonstrated entrepreneurial thinking, finding a way to create value and monetize an opportunity. The other explored a different way of leveraging what she had to get what she wanted.
I'm not here to tell anyone how to live their life, but I think there's something young women can take away from these two stories.
You can achieve your goals through creativity, value creation, and entrepreneurship without making your body or sexuality the primary currency.
Sometimes, the difference is simply in how you choose to use what you have.
I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions. There's a lot to learn from this.
