yday i sat and watched everyone fomo the jack butcher's $8 "8 open edition" knowing fully well i do not have someone that could help me use x money to position. now seeing a lot of scams flying around from yday and it gave me more reason to launch karwan as soon as possible. people sent $9, $11, $12 to accounts they just met and suddenly they got scammed.
this is where karwan begins. you bring the deal in. work, a client, a purchase, a service, an invoice, anything where two people need to agree before money moves. both of you see the same terms, the same amount, and the same milestones. the money follows an agreement, not the pressure in a dm.
1/ a buyer funds a deal in usdc (local currencies would be supported soon with usdc under the hood). the contract already knows the amount, the milestones, and what both sides accepted. when a milestone is approved, settlement moves. if the deal breaks down, it follows the dispute path you both agreed on.
2/ we are building karwan as a non-custodial system. you should not be sending funds to a karwan account and hoping we behave. funds sit inside the deal’s smart contract. the rules are visible before anyone funds. the contract follows them. karwan helps you make the deal clear. the contract holds the rules. you and the other person still approve what happens to the money.
3/ the agent side is just there to cut the blind part for fraction of cents. it can help you find the right people, read the deal context you bring, and surface some reputation or evidence before you commit. agents can suggest a match, they can point out missing terms, they can flag risk. they do not approve funding, accept work, release money, or settle a deal by themselves. the people in the deal keep that control.
4/ when a deal ends well, the record should stay with you. for instance, a freelancer should carry finished work to the next client. a seller should carry proof of delivery. a buyer should carry proof of payment. that is how reputation becomes useful outside one app, it becomes portable.
we want karwan to work wherever internet trade begins. x is one surface. jobs, sales, content work, imports, services, and small business deals start everywhere. the longer plan is to let you bring public deal context into karwan without it reading your private dms or acting as you. with real accepted deals and receipts, small businesses can later use their trade history to access working capital. we will only build that layer around verified karwan-originated deals with clear repayment rules. usdc makes the settlement part easier across borders.
we are building on
@arc.
the whole infrastructure and
@circle sdks makes this only possible to build on arc L1 blockchain.
we are testing before we rush into mainnet. internet deals carry a lot of risk especially when you do not know who you are dealing with; it can be your rent money, school money, business money, and somebody’s life savings. we are studying how these deals fail, testing the contract flows, and fixing every hard parts before asking people to rely on the tech.
