Amidst ever trying times for the human rights fraternity, Pan African Solidarity Network @_PASNET and Pan African Lawyers Union @LawyersofAfrica are proud to have recently launched "Advancing and Defending Human Rights: A Practical Guide to Advocacy and Litigation Mechanisms in Africa." This manual is written to support human rights defenders, practitioners, students, advocates, researchers, civil society organizations and all citizens in understanding the African Human Rights frameworks, and developing strategies to support the important work they do. The manual is intended to be a practical resource and solidarity tool for turning human rights concerns into coordinated action. It helps readers assess available pathways, build strategies, protect affected people and sustain pressure for accountability and lasting change. It was recently launched in Dakar, Senegal on the periphery of the 89th Ordinary Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights @achpr_cadhp and the digital version is now available for downloading via bit.ly/PALUPASNetManual We look forward to building meaningful partnerships to ensure this manual remains accessible and impactful across the continent, and beyond.
