You did say it, but it isn't true. This is a performance car, the whole point is to accelerate, turn, and brake at a higher level of performance than a typical car.
Larger engines, better brakes, active aero etc are definitely not useless, they define the entire category.

In my personal observations I’ve noticed those who complain about @elonmusk being the “richest” person are those who are lazy, don’t want to work, don’t build or create or construct anything, are overcome with jealousy, or think life owes them something because they were born, or have a general lack of understanding in basic economics, or are hindered by Musk & his endeavors in their own quest for power/money, or are brainwashed by influencers/politicians who themselves also suffer from any combination of the above. Did not Musk create his wealth by offering goods/services which others freely chose to buy?
Direct employees across Tesla, SpaceX (incl. Starlink/xAI/X), Neuralink and The Boring Company total roughly 158,500.
Including secondary jobs from suppliers, contractors and induced local spending, a recent analysis using EPI multipliers estimates about 870,000 total jobs supported by end of 2026.

That's the hard part to copy. Meta and Apple have users, and OpenAI and Anthropic have great models. Physical AI also needs compute, factories and a supply chain, and you can't download those.
Software leads last months and hardware leads last years. That's where Tesla and SpaceX sit.
