Showcasing tech stories that matter - we work with top voices in tech to inform, influence, and empower today’s business leaders. Founded by @BevEve & @Chels_LA

TechMode Explains: Edition 5 - Complex tech. Clearly explained. This edition: Edge Computing 🌐 Edge computing brings data processing closer to where the data is actually being created or used, rather than sending everything back to a central cloud or data centre. Why does that matter? It can reduce delays, cut the amount of data travelling across networks and enable much faster responses. Think connected vehicles, smart factories, healthcare and smart cities, where even a small delay can make a difference. And it doesn’t replace the cloud. Edge and cloud can work together, processing different workloads where it makes the most sense. What should we explain next?

During #NationalPreparednessMonth, we recognize the first responders, emergency managers and public safety professionals preparing every day for the unexpected. Preparedness goes beyond the response plan. It also means thinking ahead about the communications and connected systems teams will depend on as conditions and demand change. Operational resilience has to be designed before it’s tested. Learn more about @T_Priority: t-mobile.com/t-priority T-Priority Partner

TechMode Explains: Edition 4 - Complex tech. Clearly explained. This edition: Zero Trust Security 🔐 Traditional network security often worked like an office. Show your pass at reception and, once inside, you were trusted more broadly. Zero Trust works differently. Access is continually evaluated based on who you are, the device you’re using and what you actually need access to. Think of it like having your pass checked before entering each room, not just at the front door. In simple terms: 🔐 Don’t trust automatically 🔐 Verify continuously 🔐 Only give access to what’s needed That’s Zero Trust. #ZeroTrust #Cybersecurity #EnterpriseTech

TechMode Explains: Edition 3 - Complex tech. Clearly explained. Every two weeks, we take one of the biggest technologies shaping enterprise and explain it simply. This edition: Quantum Computing ⚛️ Quantum computing is a different way of processing information. Conventional computers use bits - 0s and 1s. Quantum computers use qubits, which behave according to the rules of quantum physics _*and can represent information in ways that conventional bits cannot.*_ That doesn’t mean they’re simply faster computers. Think of them as a specialised tool for certain types of problems that can be extremely difficult for conventional computers to tackle.* For example, modelling complex molecules. As molecules become more complicated, simulating how they behave can require huge amounts of computing power. Quantum computing could eventually help researchers tackle some of these problems in new ways, with potential applications in medicines and new materials. *Today’s quantum computers are still limited, but researchers are making steady progress towards systems capable of tackling useful problems at greater scale.* That’s why there’s so much interest in what quantum computing could make possible. 💬 What would you like to see quantum computing help solve?

One thing we'll never stop appreciating about technology... 🌐 It's often the things you don't notice until they're not there. 🏫 A child logging into a lesson. 📞 Someone calling 911. 🏛️ A council team accessing the information they need. Most of us don't think about the connectivity making those moments possible. We just expect it to work. That's why SuperBroadband from T-Mobile For Business genuinely amazed us. Not because it's another piece of technology, but because it's designed to support State, Local and Education (SLED) organizations maintain prioritized network access for the services people depend on every day. As parents, grandparents, friends and neighbors, we're all people first. We all rely on these services every day, so it's inspiring to see technology that's designed to help the people behind them keep doing what they do best. TechMode Explains: Edition 2 — Complex tech. Clearly explained. Every two weeks, we take one of the biggest technologies shaping enterprise and explain it in a straightforward, easy-to-understand way. This edition’s technology: Agentic AI 🧠 AI agents and agentic AI are closely related, and the terms are sometimes used interchangeably. A useful way to understand the difference is this: An AI agent is a software system that can pursue a goal and complete tasks on behalf of a user. Agentic AI describes the broader approach that allows one or more agents to plan, take action, assess the results and adapt as they work towards a goal. Instead of waiting for instructions at every step, an agentic system can decide what action to take next, within the boundaries it has been given. Imagine asking AI to help organise a product launch. Rather than simply creating a checklist, an agentic system connected to the right tools and information could build a timeline, coordinate tasks, identify delays, suggest solutions and adapt the plan as priorities change. All with defined permissions and human oversight where needed. That’s why businesses are paying attention. The next wave of AI isn’t just about automation. It’s about giving AI greater autonomy to work towards a goal. 💬 What’s one business process you would trust agentic AI to help manage? This keeps the explanation simple without suggesting that ordinary AI agents are incapable of planning or adapting.

One of the biggest myths in B2B tech? That enterprise buyers aren't influenced. They are. Long before they speak to a sales team, they're reading LinkedIn posts, listening to podcasts, attending events and learning from people they trust. The best B2B influencer marketing doesn't interrupt the conversation. It becomes part of it.

✨ 10 Years of TechMode ✨ Honestly… where the h*ll did those 10 years go? 😅 What started as Bev & Chels figuring things out as we went somehow became a global team working with incredible creators, clients, influencers, and genuinely brilliant people along the way. There were wins, mistakes, rebuilds, late nights, lessons, and a LOT of learning. And somehow, we’re still learning every day. Here’s to 10 years of growth, creativity, chaos, and amazing people ❤️

The biggest challenge in B2B tech marketing isn't awareness. It's translation. Buyers aren't asking about features, architectures, or acronyms. They're asking: • Will this reduce risk? • Will this improve efficiency? • Can I justify the investment? • Can I trust this vendor? The companies winning in enterprise tech aren't always the ones with the best products. They're the ones that make the value easiest to understand.
