Tice apologises for failing to declare a foreign visit. Reform Welsh leader steps down over accusations of assault and coercive behaviour. Endless scandal about money. This is the reality of far right parties. Always their own interests and business not that of the public. It is Trumpism and the last thing we need

If Shabana Mahmood is chancellor it’ll end in tears…quickly. Through no fault of her own she’s given little thought to economic policy and yet likes to make a splash as a minister. There will be no rapport with Andy Burnham. The media and market will approve..until they turn.

People versus the establishment? Are you kidding? Nigel Farage is the son of a stockbroker who went to Dulwich College and then follows his dad into the city, gets gifted millions, promotes crypto and gold bullion, been in politics for decades - he IS the establishment
The establishment smears and attacks have crossed a line. Nigel is absolutely right to call a by-election. This is now about the people v the establishment.

Further to this, the Liberal Democrats have now called for all parties to stand aside and refuse to give oxygen to Farage's 'vanity project' Ed Davey: "If this by-election does go ahead now, we are calling on all parties to stand aside and refuse to give oxygen to Farage’s vanity project. "But the Government should just say no to Farage’s ego-trip and block his resignation until the Standards Commissioner has finished investigating him. "The people of Clacton should have all the facts before they cast their votes."

Burnham is proposing Downing Street North. But don’t stop there. Create House of Lords North. Send them to deliberate in Rochdale or Oldham. Many will retire or resign. Sad, but I think Britain can take it. independent.co.uk/voices/and…

The inability to make a decision himself has been Starmer's real downfall

I've just learned that Rachel Reeves is in this picture, and she didn’t stand outside No. 10 and clap for the PM after he resigned. Considering she has caused a lot of the bad feeling towards Labour with her useless schemes, you'd have thought she might have shown some loyalty to Starmer, who stood by her through every challenge. Unbelievable treachery.
If the rest of his campaign is as misjudged as this picture, he might be in trouble.

You're literally a professional politician mate 🤡
Reform demands an election, and we are ready to deliver radical change. If Labour thinks it can shove another professional politician into No 10, it has another thing coming. Read my second essay to Britain. 👇

How much longer will the @metpoliceuk allow the clown Bray to disturb the peace?
Yet another example of the unseriousness of the rejoin EU movement - Steve Bray disrupting the PM's resignation by playing "Ode to Joy" at full volume at the gates of Downing Street... 🤡🙄

Of all the demands for additional public spending, this is surely one of the least deserving. If he’s caving in on this, God help us.
NEW: Andy Burnham has hinted at a new multibillion-pound spending commitment if he becomes PM, saying that more than 3.5mn women “deserve” compensation over what he regards as a pension scandal Earlier I attended a Makerfield hustings event hosted by @MENnewsdesk, in which Burnham said: “I stick by campaigners that I support. I stuck by the Hillsborough families, I’ll stick by the Waspi women because they deserve some recompense for the unfairness.” Stressing he wouldn’t ditch his longterm support for Waspi women, he said he felt “uncomfortable” that some politicians threw their support behind a cause but then went into government and “didn’t do anything” ft.com/content/1021ae5f-aab3…
