It is not well-known, but the Zionist movement co-opted the leadership of the Displaced Person (DP) camps in Germany, Austria & Italy after WWII. They imposed a draft among Jewish males 18-35 in the DP camps in November 1947, a draft for a country that didn't exist yet, a draft imposed on holocaust survivors against their will. @mollycrabapple writes about this episode in her book, Here Where We Live Is Our Country. “In the end, she writes, "Zionists imposed the draft by force. It was shocking, said the Bundist newspaper Unzer Shtime, “that Jews, the standard victims of Fascism and terrorism, would be capable of the kinds of violence Zionists in the camps exercise toward their Bundist and other non-Zionist political rivals.” She continues: "Bundists and other non-Zionist Jews told stories of night raids and mob beatings. Bundists in the Bad Reichenhall camp claimed Zionists publicly whipped a draft dodger, then took photos to frighten others into compliance. In a camp near Ulm, Germany, Zionists beat the elderly fathers of sons who avoided the draft. Rabbi Chaim Eleazar Spira was a leading rabbinical authority and prominent anti-Zionist in the Ukranian town of Munkács. He died in 1937. This is an anecdote from his life: "There were conflicts between the rabbis' office and the Zionists, too.... ...Hasidim didn't think it necessary to move to Palestine. Meet Sean Sammitt, a former employee at the Temple Kol Ami synagogue on Walnut Lake Road in West Bloomfield, Michigan, 1 mile from where I grew up. Investigators say it was normal and should have been higher. But the watch showed before the attack that Samitt's heart rate was elevated. That led police into the synagogue, where they found bloody tissues and a knife Samitt used to stab himself. Israel does not "provide" vaccines or food to Gaza. The UN, WHO, UNICEF and aid groups purchase and deliver them. But Israel controls the crossings and therefore decides what gets through, by constantly restricting, delaying, and denying life essential aid far below what Gaza needs.
