Heard a family speaking Farsi on the street in London, so I thought it’d be funny to say salam. Within 5 minutes, they had insisted (absolutely refused to take no for an answer) that I get into their car while they showed me around town
I mentioned I wanted to find somewhere to grab a bite, and the dad literally sprinted out of the car & came back with 3 different beverages, sandwiches, nuts, dried fruit. It started raining, so they bought me an umbrella which I rejected but they wouldn’t let me leave until it was in my hand
