I almost cried in the toilet of that Lekki office last year.
I applied for a Senior Software Engineer role at a fintech in Lagos. Three rounds of interviews. Technical was solid. System design, they even said โthis is one of the best weโve seen.โ
Final round with the CEO himself. He was smiling, nodding, asking about my side projects. I left that day feeling like the job was mine.
