It is in moments like this that you realise that you married a woman who isn’t in love with you. I’m trying so hard to understand how you’ve been comfortably confronting him with this issue several times without considering the financial burden you’re trying to place on him.
With this entitlement, you definitely don’t contribute a penny to the household, and you expect him to take care of you, the kids, the upkeep of the home, and his parents and YOURS?
What do you do with your money?
You don’t love your husband.
My husband pays his parents a monthly allowance, but he doesn't do the same for my parents. I've confronted him about it several times, and his argument is that my parents have their children who can take care of them.
But I don't agree with him. I believe that marriage makes my parents his parents too. If he can comfortably put his own parents on a monthly allowance, why shouldn't my parents enjoy the same privilege?
Must financial support for parents be restricted to one's biological parents, or should a married man extend the same gesture to his wife's parents?
I'd like to hear people's honest opinions.
