I made a @posthog plugin in @get_bb_app. It's a custom metrics dashboard integrated with an agent, using my existing agent subscriptions.

Only good malleable software I've used in the LLM era is bb (and @pidotdev on terminal I guess). So good I could get the codex voice integration to be much more powerful in bb than in codex.

Started writing bb's plugin API docs then realized:
1) agents are the target user for API docs now
2) humans need a drastically different docs experience if they aren't writing code
So I'm using bb to build a bb plugin that interactively shows you how to build bb plugins.

bb 0.39.0 is out.
Large threads are much faster: one CSS selector made the browser restyle the whole page on every insert, and it's gone. Typing no longer re-renders the timeline, and side chat and model pickers load faster.
Child threads can now live in a different project from their parent, bb connect allows 20 servers and machines per account, and automations back off and auto-pause instead of hot-looping on failure. Plus a long list of fixes.

I love agentic coding harnesses, but they shouldn't be primarily terminal-based. The terminal is great for quick and precise commands, but information density is extremely low and UI affordances are minimal. Maybe provision of TUIs is worthwhile for occasional use (when establishing a tunnel is too annoying, or something), but it feels very strange for this to be the default modality. It took a long time for dynamic language REPLs to break out of the terminal (Jupyter notebooks and similar); I hope we don't have to wait as long for the harnesses.
